Welcome to the Parish Council Website
Kettlewell with Starbotton Parish Council is an elected body in the first tier of local government. Other tiers are Craven District Council [www.cravendc.gov.uk] and North Yorkshire County Council [www.northyorks.gov.uk]. The Parish Council represents our community's interests and seeks to improve the quality of life and the local environment.
What does the Parish Council actually do? Recent agendas have covered, commenting on planning consultations, highways concerns, streetlighting and maintenance of the war memorial gardens. To learn more, do come to one of our public meetings, held at 7:30pm on the first Wednesday of most months in Kettlewell Village Hall.
There are five Parish Councillors, four currently living in Kettlewell and one living in Starbotton. One of the councillors is also the Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer.
